The founder
I grew up surrounded by coffee — it was simply part of life in Uganda. Before founding Pearl Origins, I served as President of the Ugandan Scholars in Hungary, representing the Ministry of Education and Sports — a diplomatic role built on one belief: that my country deserves to be known for its very best. For years, that meant championing education.
Then I rediscovered something Uganda has quietly perfected for generations — coffee that is, cup for cup, among the finest in the world. I decided its story belonged at the same tables where the coffee itself should sit.
